The Brazilian sugar-energy sector has been undergoing a moment of constant transformations. On the one hand, they can be considered positive, such as the implementation of new plants for the production of ethanol, especially from corn; the possible increase in the percentage of biofuel in gasoline C, from the current 27% to 30%; and the regulation of the law on CBios. On the other hand, they can be negative, such as projects that allow the sale of pure fuels and the possible reduction of import tariffs from the United States
